Case Study

Book Editing (2006-12)

I enjoy these assignments. Each time I edited a book, I generally had a month or two to process it. Indexes were usually turned around in about a week. I like learning things, so even books that were difficult to edit, taking a long time and driving down my earnings, fulfilled me in other ways.

With each book I did, I would try try to streamline the process a little more. My past programming experience came in handy, as I was able to write numerous scripts to help me complete books faster without missing anything.
